THE
NRA FOUNDATION AND BERETTA ANNOUNCE PARTNERS FOR THE FUTURE PROGRAM
ACCOKEEK, MD - Beretta and The NRA Foundation will continue the "Partners
for the Future" program in 2005. This program has created some of
the finest shotguns ever made available to shooters. They pay tribute
to the NRA's vigilant protection of the Second Amendment and to Beretta's
500-year history of creating the finest shotguns in the world. Proceeds
from the program will go to the Beretta Youth Endowment.
The first Partners for the Future creation are a matching set of 12 and
20 gauge 3901 NRA Partner Exclusive Edition shotguns. These are limited
to 100 sets with matching serial numbers (NRA-001) with an added "A"
and "B". These unique pairs have a high-polished, nickel silver
finished receiver with gold-filled engravings. The 12 gauge displays engraved
Mallards in flight and the 20 gauge is engraved with a busting covey of
quail. Each will also have engraved the "PB" shield and the
NRA seal on the right side of the receiver.
The 100 pairs will have a deluxe grade-3 wood with the NRA Foundation
monogram medallion inlaid into the grip cap of the stock. Each gun comes
with its own fitted brown leather case, with certificate of authenticity;
NRA patch, pin, and five screw-in choke tubes from full to cylinder constrictions.
These beautiful pairs of shotguns will be auctioned to NRA members, giving
that special pair of shooters the perfect pair of shotguns to enjoy together.
The second offering will be sets of 12 or 20 gauge 3901 NRA Limited Edition
shotguns with the shooter's selected date as part of the serial number
(NRA-mmddyy). These sets are perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
and can be specially ordered directly from Beretta (visit www.berettausa.com)
and will be shipped direct to a licensed dealer. Shooters can order a
perfect set of shotguns for that perfect occasion. The set of Limited
Edition has the same beautiful engravings and polished finish as the previously
mentioned 12/20 gauge pair but with a black receiver. The wood is a deluxe
2.5-grade and each is fitted to a Beretta ABS case with the NRA medallion
on the side. Inside each case will be five choke tubes and a NRA patch
and pin and only 500 pairs will be made.
The third shotgun created for Partners for the Future is a 3901 NRA Partner
Special Edition. Having a more simple engraving scheme and a synthetic
stock, these fine shotguns boast a look all their own. These beautiful
shotguns are available in 12 or 20 gauge, have Special Edition fitted
cases, three choke tubes and a certificate of authenticity. The 20 gauge
is especially good for young shooters having a one-inch removable spacer
in the butt stock to adjust length of pull. Serial numbers will range
from NRA-00000 (12 gauge) and BER-00000 (20 gauge).
The Special Edition shotgun is available to dealers exclusively through
